Sharyn Friedman Obituary

Sharyn W. Friedman, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on October 19, 1948, in the Bronx, NY, Sharyn's life was a testament to the power of generosity and the strength of family bonds. Sharyn's journey began as the cherished daughter of her late parents, whose values and traditions she carried throughout her life. She found her soulmate in Jeffrey, to whom she was a devoted wife for over 50 years. Together, they built a life filled with mutual respect, unwavering support, and endless love. Their bond was a source of inspiration to all who knew them, a true example of partnership and commitment. The role of mother was one that Sharyn embraced with her whole heart. Her daughter, Tami, was the light of her life. Sharyn's family grew to include her daughter-in-law, Devon, whom she welcomed with open arms and love. The joy of Sharyn's later years was her beloved grandson, Hunter. She cherished every moment spent with him, imparting wisdom, sharing stories, and creating an unbreakable bond that will live on in his heart. Sharyn's sister, Wanda (Sal), was more than a sibling; she was a confidante and partner in life's adventures. Their connection was a source of strength and comfort for both. Sharyn's nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart, each of them touched by her generosity and the unique way she made them feel loved and valued. Sharyn's interests were many, but above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandson and family. These moments were the ones she treasured most, filled with laughter, storytelling, and the simple pleasures of being together. Her legacy is one of love and the importance of family, a legacy that will continue to guide and inspire those she has left behind. As we bid farewell to Sharyn W. Friedman, we do so with heavy hearts, but also with profound gratitude for the time we shared with her. Her memory will be cherished, her lessons remembered, and her spirit will continue to guide us. Sharyn's life was a blessing, and her memory will forever be a source of joy and comfort to her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
