Ronald Vitro

Ronald Vitro, of New Rochelle passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, at the age of 80.

A lifelong resident of New Rochelle, Ronald graduated from Blessed Sacrament High School, where he formed many lifelong friendships and laid the foundation for his future endeavors. After high school, he honorably served in the U.S. Navy.

In 1967, Ronald married his beloved wife, Edna, and together they embarked on a journey of love and partnership that would span nearly six decades. Their union was blessed with three children: Ronald (Kerri), Daniel (Theresa), and Jennifer, who predeceased him. Ronald was a devoted father who instilled in his children the values of respect, hard work, and compassion.

Ronald's entrepreneurial spirit led him to own and operate E&R Galleries, a haven for sports memorabilia enthusiasts.

Beyond his professional life, Ronald was an avid fisherman but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren: Caitlin, Matthew, Kyle, Noelle, Christian, and Tyler. He cherished every moment with them, from attending their sporting events to sharing stories and imparting wisdom.

Though Ronald is now reunited with his beloved daughter Jennifer and brother Robert, his absence is deeply felt by his family and friends. His wife, Edna, sons Ronald and Daniel, and his cherished grandchildren.
