Roger Fisk was born on January 3, 1949 and passed peacefully into the arms of his beloved Jesus on August 19, 2021.
Roger's passion and calling in life was to reach people through his absolute dedication to serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Roger loved Jesus, his family, good food, music (especially the Beatles) and all things Seinfeld. He was a true New Yorker (affectionately called Mr. New York) and a lifelong resident of Fleetwood. Roger had a giant heart for children and never met a baby or a child that he couldn't get a smile from! He had a great sense of humor, was a gifted musician and a talented artist. Some of his best drawings were on napkins in restaurants while entertaining restless nieces and nephews. He worked for the United States Postal Service in Mount Vernon & White Plains for 33 years until his retirement in 2012. He is survived by his brothers John Fisk and Mark Heaney, his sister-in-law Donna Heaney, his nieces and nephews, his second mother "Aunt Kay" Dorman and Uncles Tom, Gerry and Richie. Roger was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Dorothy Heaney. Roger's quirky personality touched many people who knew him as well as countless strangers whose lives he touched even for just the briefest moment. He was uniquely his own person and had an uncompromising faith in the promise of heaven. He will be missed by all who loved him.
