Obituary

Rocco Grippo of Tuckahoe passed away on November 27, 2020. He was born on September 17, 1932 in Italy to Luigi and MariaAntonia Grippo. Rocco is predeceased by his beloved wife Maria in 2016. Loving father of Louis and Rocco, Jr; cherished grandfather of Lianna and Louis; dear brother of Nicola (Tina) Grippo and Filomena (Joe) Iuni. Rocco will be remembered as hardworking simple man who focused his love and attention to his family, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. His reputation as a vert well known and longtime home builder in Westchester County. He proudly founded, owned and operated R. Grippo & Son Contractors. Rocco loved his walks on the beach, especially in Florida. He enjoyed his garden and wine making with his sons. Family will honor Rocco’s life on Sunday from 2 – 6 pm and Monday from 4 – 8 pm at Yannantuono Funeral Home, Mt Vernon NY. Funeral Mass Tuesday morning at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Interment at Mt Hope Cemetery.
