Richard J. Sattarelle

Richard J. Sattarelle of New Rochelle, N.Y. formerly of Mt. Vernon passed away on October 24, 2022. He was born in Mt. Vernon on December 12, 1933, to Louis and Margaret Sattarelle. Richard attended schools in Mt. Vernon and graduated from Edison High School with the class of 1953. He served our country proudly in the United States Army from 1954 – 1956. Richard married Dolores Semenza on January 9, 1965, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Mt. Vernon. He was employed by Pepperidge Farm in Norwalk, C.T. for over 30 years. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed countless days at Jones Beach. He also enjoyed hunting, BBQ’s and loved spending time with his family. Beloved husband of over 59 years of Dolores; loving daughter Joy Marie; brother-in-law of Irma Sattarelle and Donna (John) Fulco; cherished uncle of Gina (Phil) Horgan, Roseann Cardillo, Susan Thompson and Lisa Sattarelle. He was predeceased by his brother Louis, his sister-in-law Carolyn and brother-in-law Richard Cardillo. He will be deeply missed and will forever remain in our hearts.
