Ralph Rubino

Ralph Rubino peacefully walked into heaven on July 4, 2025, surrounded by his family and love. Ralph was born on December 30, 1949 in Mount Vernon, NY to Helen (nee Choinski) and Ralph Rubino.  He enjoyed a simple and happy childhood alongside his twin sister, Rosemarie Pagano, and sister, Tina Kasten. Ralphs life was a beautiful testament to love, creativity, and family. Ralph was a naturally gifted artist.  Starting from a young age, he would deconstruct magazine covers and re-design them to his perfection.  His talent and passion for design lead him to attend the School of Visual Arts and pursue a successful career in design. Ralph fell in love with Janie Ciampi. Ralph and Janie walked hand in hand through 46 years of marriage.  Their relationship was a testament to true partnership—filled with love, laughter, mutual respect, and friendship. His greatest achievement was the strong, loving family he and his wife created.  Ralph was a proud & devoted father to his son, Ralph, and daughter, Gabrielle Ralph’s tiniest treasures were his grandchildren, Ralph, Isabelle, Julian, and Nicholas Rubino. He found happiness on a golf course, taking long walks, relaxing at the beach, or enjoying a good bottle of wine.  Ralph carried himself with timeless style - from his great head of hair to his signature perfectly pressed white button down shirts.  Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Janie; his children, Ralph (Nicole) & Gabrielle; his cherished grandchildren: Ralph, Isabelle, Julian and Nicholas.  He is also survived by his sisters, Tina Kasten & Rosemarie Pagano (Daniel); his brother in law, Basil Ciampi (Alba, deceased); his sister in law, Lorraine Cohen (Jay, deceased); seven nieces & nephews (pre deceased by Christopher Pagano); and six great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  

Janie, Ralph & Gabrielle would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Jansen Hospice, our angel, Belinda, and all of their family and friends who walked beside them through Ralph’s journey.
