Paul Galluccio Obituary

Paul Galluccio Died on March 11, 2021, survived by his daughter Pamela (Riccio) son in law John, two grandchildren Hayden and Shane, and three brothers Dominic, Joseph and Armand. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Theresa Galluccio and daughter Wendy. Paul was born on August 3, 1937 in Paterson, NJ. As a young boy he worked in the family store through his teen years, when he started two successful jazz bands performing on the clarinet at various private and public venues.  While working these two jobs as well as serving 3 years in the National Guard, he took a job at a local clothing store which would prove to be the platform for his first of many successful business ventures Paul Scott LTD in New Rochelle, NY.  It was during the time of Paul Scott LTD that his two daughters Pamela and Wendy were born.  After a successful 20 years in the clothing business, he moved on to importing and supplying tanning beds to salons across the United States.  During the infancy of this new fad the majority of tanning beds and equipment imported into the United States were by his company Sontegra.  After years of success, he sold this business and partnered up with an old friend to satisfy a lifelong dream of opening an upscale piano bar which is still alive and well carrying on his legacy over 30 years later.  In addition to the piano bar, he has left behind many successful restaurants, bars and hotels in Manhattan, Florida, San Diego, Atlanta and Chicago.  Paul loved his family and his favorite moments were spent with them traveling throughout the Caribbean and Europe.

After suffering with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis for the last 3 years Paul passed peacefully on March 11, 2021 with his devoted daughter Pamela and her family by his side.  In an effort to help fight this awful disease and assist the families of those suffering from Pulmonary Fibrosis the family has asked that in lieu of flowers you consider making a donation in his name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation by going to the following link:
