Mary O'Rourke

Mary Frances O’Rourke (née Meany) passed away on March 17, 2022 in Jupiter, Florida. She was born to Philip and Margaret (nee O’Brien) Meany on August 22, 1939 in the Bronx, where she grew up with her 3 sisters. She also raised her five children in the Bronx and in Queens. Mary worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years until she retired to her most favorite place on earth, Cape Cod, MA. She most enjoyed having her children and grandchildren gather with her for many holidays and good times over the past 30 years on the Cape.

Mary is predeceased by her husband James O’Rourke and her sisters Kathryn and Margaret. Loving mother of Jim O’Rourke (Becky), Erin O’Rourke, Karen Coogan (Stephen), Jeanne Marie O’Rourke and Bob O’Rourke (Claudine); cherished grandmother of Katie O’Rourke, Ryan O’Rourke, Jack Coogan, Colin Coogan, Frankie O’Rourke, Jake O’Rourke and Danny O’Rourke; dear sister of Therese Meany. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 am Thursday March 24, 2022 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 70 Petersville, Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10801. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rogosin Institute ( Rogosin.org ) in Mary's honor.
