Mariano Compagnone

Mariano Compagnone of Mt Vernon passed away on March 27, 2022. He was born in Italy on May 5, 1939 to Tommaso and Angela Compagnone. Beloved husband of Rita; loving father of Franco (Michele) Compagnone and Maria Compagnone; cherished Nonno of Michael and Franco; dear brother of Vincenza, Pietrina and Paolo. Mariano was a true master stone mason, taking immense pride in his work. He loved his family and spending time with them, especially his grandsons. Mariano enjoyed gardening. He loved to garden and when asked if he cooked his answer would be “yes to eating but no to cooking”.  Mariano will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
