Joyce Rossi

Joyce Rossi of Mt. Vernon passed away on September 17, 2021. She was born in Mt. Vernon on March 25, 1937, to John and Julia Sacco. Joyce worked for over 16 years for the Mt. Vernon School District at MVHS. She loved her coffee, she would always say, “Come over for coffee and cake.” Joyce was so well known for her amazing eggplant parmigiana. Loving mother of Lee (Gregg) Caruso, Frank Rossi and Julie Rossi; cherished grandmother of Jenna, Gregg, Jesse and Michael and great grandmother of Dylan, Aubree and Lyla; dear sister of Marguerite Parente and Nick Sacco. Joyce was predeceased by her former husband John Rossi in 1986, who owned Fran~Lee Burger House in Mt. Vernon. Joyce truly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she will be greatly missed by all.
