Joseph Sisco

Joseph Sisco, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on April 18, 1950, to the late Joseph and Sarah Sisco nee Petrillo, in Mount Vernon, NY.

A graduate of Mt Vernon High School, Joseph went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ricker College. His commitment to service and wellness defined his career as a Registered Nurse, through which he touched the lives of countless individuals with his kindness and professional excellence.

Family was central to Joseph's life, and he held each member close to his heart. He is survived by his affectionate sister, Debra Ciasco (Michael), and his devoted canine niece, Nellie Mae. His cousins Janice (Mike),Carol (Frank), Frank and Kelly will cherish memories of Joseph's endless generosity and supportive nature. Close friends Cammille, Ann and Karen also share in the loss of a man who brought joy into their lives. Joseph is predeceased by has favorite canine niece Sarah Jo.  

A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday at 10:30am at Sts. Peter and Paul Church. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
