Irene C. Olivera

Irene Cecelia Olivera, 89 years old, was born on August 31, 1931.  She went to Davis High School in Mount Vernon, NY and became a secretary and bookkeeper for many years.  Her loving husband of 56 years, Alfred Olivera, has pre-deceased her.  She leaves her brother William Troetel, and beloved children Brenda Campone (Thomas, husband), Grace DeOliveira, Alfred Jr. (Rosangela, wife), Barbara Gentile (Carmine, husband) and also leaves her beloved grandchildren Christopher Olivera, Carolyn Fish, Emily Kiernan, Rebecca Lynch, David Olivera, Jessica Gentile, Katherine Hohman, Rael Olivera, and Irene R. Olivera, and great grandchildren Alexa, Riley, Madelyn, John, Kingston, and Layla. She raised her children in the village of Pelham, NY and retired to Deltona FL in 1998. In her later years she had a beloved companion Louis DiMare, and together they actively volunteered for the Council on Aging and were members of the Sons of Italy. For the past three years, she resided in New Rochelle, NY living with four generations of her loving family. She was an amazingly generous woman who touched the lives of many.
