Georgia A. Lockhart

Georgia A. Lockhart of Mt. Vernon passed away on August 1, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 25, 1961 in Jamaica to Simon and Athlene Cole. Beloved wife of Grady; loving mother of Travis and Ala; dear sister of Jessica, Joan, Yolanda, Sabrina and Pheneas. Predeceased by her brother Danny. Georgia worked at Traphagen Elementary School in their special education department for many years. She was a fantastic cook, made jewelry, but most of all, Georgia, was most known for her caring spirit, especially for all the students in her care over the years. Georgia will be missed by all who she touched over the years and mostly her loving family.
