Filomena Carnevale of Mt Vernon passed away on January 2, 2021. She was born on October 10, 1925 in Italy to John and Santa Colombo. Beloved wife of Alfredo; loving mother of Carmela (Ladislao) Venditti and Michael (Carmen) Carnevale; cherished grandmother of Anthony, Anna Rosa, Filomena, Alfie, Michael and Amanda and great-grandmother of Rachel, Drew, Matthew, Emma, Joey, Robert and Dominic. Filomena was a master seamstress who took great pride in her work. She loved knitting, baking, cooking and truly enjoyed ironing. Filomena’s greatest joy was spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all, especially her family. All services are private. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001 in Memory of Filomena Carnevale.
