Eleanor A. Lifrieri

Eleanor Lifrieri, 92, of Yonkers, was called home to God on August 12, 2020.  She was born in Mount Vernon on January 23, 1928, to Harold and Louise Leaden.  She was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph.  They were married on September 11, 1949, at Our Lady of Victory Church, Mount Vernon.  Eleanor and Joe, shared seventy one, wonderful years together.  She was a devoted and loving wife, and a kind and caring mother to her six children.  Eleanor was a longtime resident of Mount Vernon, where she raised her six children.  She is survived by her children;  Lynne, Laurie, Dennis, Joann, and Karen.  She was predeceased by her daughter Lydia.  Eleanor is also survived by her nine grandchildren.  She was a wonderful woman, and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Family will honor Eleanor's life at   Yannantuono Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, on Sunday August 16, 2020 from 2-6 PM. Funeral Mass on Monday August 17, 2020 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church. Burial at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
