Donald V. Smith

Donald V. Smith of Mt. Vernon passed away on September 13, 2021. He was born in Mt. Vernon on April 26, 1943, to David and Ann Smith. Donald is predeceased by his parents and his brother David. He graduated Davis High School in Mt. Vernon in 1962.  Donald proudly served our county in the US Army during the Vietnam Era, stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Larchmont American Legion Post. Donald was an avid football fan. He and his best friend Robert Infelice enjoyed watching games and old time T.V. shows together. They became best of friends at the age of 5 and remained best friends till today. Donald in buried at the Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island.
