Denise Larkin

Denise Larkin a lifelong resident of Mt. Vernon, passed away on
January 14, 2025. She was born in Mt. Vernon on December 24,
1947 to Dominick (Sgamo) Sgammato and Barbara (Nina) Iocca.
Loving mother of Ronald Larkin (Susan), Jacqueline Golinello
and Christopher Larkin (Jennifer). Grandmother to Ronald
Larkin Jr. (Samantha), Anthony Larkin (Tara), Marissa Geyer
(Ian), Nicholas Larkin, Julia Larkin, Olivia Larkin (Anthony) and
Frankie Golinello. Cherished Great-Grandmother to Ronald III,
Enzo, Giovanni, Roland and Thomas. Niece, Aunt, Cousin and
Friend to many. Sister to Phillip Sgammato. She was
predeceased by her three brothers Anthony, Frankie and Jimmy
Sgammato and her sister Marlene DeEsso.
Denise was a hairdresser for many years and loved her dog,
Furby. A strong independent woman that had a zest for life and
lived it to the fullest. She will be missed by her family and
friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00pm on Tuesday January 21,
2025; Service on Wednesday January 22, 2025 at 10:00am at
Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home, 584 Gramatan
Avenue, Mt. Vernon, NY 10552. Followed by interment at Holy
Sepulchre Cemetery, 95 Kings Hwy, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
