Clara Battista

Clara Battista of Mount Vernon died on Friday, January 24th 2020. Clara was born in Benevento, Italy to Eugenio and Vincenza Pastore on March 28, 1939. She is predeceased by her husband, Armando Battista Sr. of Mount Vernon, and her siblings, Aida Lotto, Maria Albino, Rosa Antognietti, Aldo Pastore and Rita Correnti. She is survived by her sisters, Antoinette LaPeccerella, Edda Viola, Diana Pisacreta, Carmela Pisacreta, Alba Pisacreta and Anna Maria Ianucci. Clara is also survived by her three children, Armando Battista, Maria Ricchiuti and Michele Battista. She also has five grandchildren Carla, Shuhan, Alexandria, Marco and Nicholas. Clara will always be remembered for her thirst of knowledge, how much she loved the opera and her love for cooking.
