Claire DePaul

Claire Mary DePaul (nee Percopo), 77, of Bronx, NY, passed away on May 24, 2024, in Bronx, NY. She was born on June 26, 1946, in Bronx, NY. Claire was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. She was known for her caring nature, listening ear, loving heart, compassion, and kindness. Claire was someone to be proud of and was always welcoming, striving to maintain peace in all relationships. Claire is survived by her children: Susan Mucci, Peter Cornacchio, Lanie and Al Deangelo, Raymond and Rachel DePaul, Michele and Mike Torsiello; her grandchildren: Ashley, Brandon, Ariel, Cheyenne, Brett, Michael, Raymond, Nicholas, Kaila, Kyle, Andrew; and her siblings: Adrianne and Bill Pratt, Michele and Robert Pettinato, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, and her parents, Yolanda and Michael Percopo. Claire dedicated her career to the Mount Vernon Board of Education in the accounting department. She worshipped at Our Lady of Mit. Carmel, St. Ursula's, and St. Ann's. Claire's hobbies included cooking, entertaining, dancing, and spending quality time with her family and friends. A visitation will be held on June 3, from 4:00 to 8:00, at Yannantuono Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, New York.  Claire's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
