Ciro Perrotta passed away on September 23, 2021. Ciro, the fifth oldest of nine children, was born on April 4, 1935 to Pasquale and Rosa Perrotta in the Italian city of Benevento, Naples. Ciro was a loving and devoted husband and father, a caring and proud grandfather and great grandfather and brother. Ciro migrated to the United States in 1973 with his wife, Angela, and two sons, Pasquale and Pietro where he settled in Mount Vernon, NY and worked in construction. Ciro is predeceased by his beloved son, Pietro. Ciro is survived by his wife of 61 years, Angela, son Pasquale, grandchildren Ciro, Jason, Angela, Michael, Matthew and Gabriella; great grandchildren Kade and Jace. Ciro lived his life proudly with an unwavering commitment and dedication to his family. He lived an honest life, always wanting to do the right thing. He enjoyed growing tomatoes in his garden during the summer and making homemade wine and gravy. He loved watching Italian soccer games and nightly Wheel of Fortune. He played his luck daily with lottery numbers and “scracth” games. He was greatly loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed by all.
