Carmella DePaola

Obituary

Carmella DePaola passed away at age 92 on 3/4/2022 peacefully in St. Pete Beach, FL. 

She was born on 7/24/1929 in Brazil to her parents Vincent and Maria Paffile, and was the youngest of 10 siblings.

She came to New York in 1947, where she met the love of her life Joseph and the two married in Brooklyn NY.

Carmella and Joseph were married for 62 years until 2014 when her loving husband Joseph passed away.

Carmella is survived by her son Vincent and daughter in law Joann and their family.  Grandchildren  Marilyn,  Joseph and his wife Nadia  and Great Grandchild Giovino.

Carmella is also survived by her son Leonard and daughter in law Elaine and their family.

Grand Children Joseph and his wife Regina, Elena and her husband Michael.

Great Grandchildren Sofia, Leonardo, Stella and Lilliana                     

 Carmella is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends will be received for visiting at the  Yannatouno Funeral Home located at 584 Gramatan Avenue, Mt. Vernon, NY 10552.

Visitation will be Thursday 3/10/2022 between the hours of 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. The funeral Mass will be held on Friday 3/11/2022 at 10:45am at St Peter and Paul, St. Ursula Church located at 129 East Birch St. in Fleetwood, NY 10552 . Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery at 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY 10530.
