Carmela Anna Zeolla

Carmela Zeolla, of Eastchester, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on July 18, 1935, in Colle Sannita, Benevento, Italy, she was the cherished matriarch who brought warmth and joy to all who knew her.

Carmela's journey brought her to the United States in 1963, where she dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker. Her love knew no bounds, and her home was a haven of comfort and happiness. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Zeolla, and a nurturing mother to her son Joey and daughter-in-law Olga. Her legacy continues through her adored grandsons, Joseph and Michael.

She is survived by her caring sister Angela and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings Maria Libera, Eleonora, Michele, and her parents Salvatore and Teresa Piacquadio. Carmela's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to have felt its embrace.
