Mount Vernon, NY 10552 for Blanca Imelda Guzmán, who passed away after 8 months of battling post COVID lung issues on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
She was 74 years old. The burial will be conducted on Thursday morning at Kensico Cemetery.

Blanca was born & raised in Bogota, Colombia, South America. She immigrated to Mount Vernon, NY in 1973 to be united with her husband, Ciro Guzmán.
Blanca was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. Blanca especially loved her role as Abuela Cuca. She had a easy going personality and always made people around her smile. She was a lover of music & a dancer.

She is the loving & devoted mother of Ingrid Katherine Guzmán-Lenis, Astrid Vanessa Guzmán-Cruz and Wendy Janette Guzmán-Rosa and mother-in-law to Alex Lenis, Brandon Cruz and Rurico Rosa. Adored abuela of Giselle Vanessa Rosa, Manolo Antonio Rosa, Zoé Sofía Cruz and Brandon Anthony Cruz II. Loving daughter of the late Pedro Maria Fonseca and Emelina Bonilla de Fonseca. Dear sister of the late Antonio Fonseca, the late Diana Fonseca, Delia Edgson and René Fonseca. Also survived by the Fonseca Family and many nieces & nephews.
