Betty Lee Marrano

Betty Lee (Wiseman) Marrano of Mount Vernon NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 20, 2026, at the age of 84.

She was born to Lillian Rambadt Theisen and Norman Lee Wiseman on May 8, 1942 in the Bronx New York, where she was raised and educated.

She met the love of her life, Vincent Marrano, while working at Kulka Electric in Mount Vernon New York.
They were married January 9, 1965 in Saint Francis of Assisi Church and raised four children together.

She devoted herself to improving the lives of her children and others by generously volunteering with the PTA, PTSA, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Junior Minor and Little League baseball teams.

Betty worked for the Mount Vernon Board of Education for 27 years primarily at Mount Vernon High School as a secretary in the Guidance Office. She retired in 2009.

She was a diehard Yankees fan, enjoyed word games, crocheting and watching her favorite Soap Opera, General Hospital.
She also adored her two loving cats.

Betty is survived by her husband Vincent and her four children, Vincent Jr., Michael(Heidy), Robert(Vicki) Marrano and Christine(Robert) Ruggieri. She is
also survived by her five grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Madison, Ava and Paisley, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Nancy Wiseman.

She will be very deeply missed.
