Antonino Cipriano

On May 2, 2020, Antonino Cipriano entered the Gates of Heaven. He was born on September 18, 1952 to his parents Michelina and Luigi Cipriano in Guardia Lombardi, Italy. He came to America with his mom and settled in Mount Vernon, New York. Antonino met his best friend and love of his life, Valerie Milano in January 1971 and they were married in September 1974 and remained happily married for more than 45 years. He was a family man from day one, and Antonino and Valerie‘s family was complete with the birth of their five children. Antonino’s beautiful smile and laugh never shined so brightly in the presence of his family and joy exuded him when he spoke about them. He was always the devoted husband, father, and grandfather and was involved in all aspects of his children’s and grandchildren’s lives. Antonino graduated in 1971 from Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, New York. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and building manager. Soon after, he opened his own bakery in New Jersey. With the foundation behind him, he started A.C. Bakery Distributors and Bakers Puff Pastry, which have become his legacy these last 40 years. In more recent years, Nonno/Nonni have become his most popular names by his nine grandchildren, which became his world. Antonino is survived by his loving wife, Valerie; his daughter Erica and son-in-law Scott, his son Anthony and daughter-in-law Maria, his daughter Vanessa and son-in-law Nicholas, his son Michael, and his daughter Stefanie and son-in-law Giuseppe. In addition, he is survived by his nine grandchildren... Luke (10), Antonino (8), Abigail (8), Arianna (8), Marco (5), Genevieve (3), Alessio (2), Michelina (1), and Alexa (1). You will truly be missed but you will be with us forever. You will always be a part of us and your memories will live on. We love you. A memorial visitation will be held at a later date.
