Angela Bruno Acocella, a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on May 2, 2025. She was born in Calabria, Italy on October 1, 1969 and her life was marked by faith, kindness, and love. Angela cherished her family. She was predeceased by her father, Salvatore and sister, Ida Bruno. She is survived by her husband, Pasquale and son, Angelo. She is also survived by her mother, Domenica her brother Enrico, sisters Fiorella and Laura Bruno, her brother and sister in law, Mike and Angela Acocella, as well as nieces and a grand niece and two grand nephews whom she adored greatly. She will also be missed by her dedicated dog, Lucky. Angela was a dedicated nanny for over 30 years. She has affectionately impacted and loved many of those families , many of whom she still talked about often. Angela led a life of simple joys. She had a passion for gardening. She was known for her famously tall sunflowers that regrew each year and orchids that decorated her kitchen windows. She enjoyed maintaining her vegetable garden too, as it reminded her of back home in Italy. Angela also liked to cook while listening to music and made the best tiramisu. In addition to her hobbies, she enjoyed spending time with her friends by singing karaoke, going out to dinner, shopping and celebrating life together. Angela was dedicated to her faith and prayed to Padre Pio. We find comfort in knowing she is in everlasting peace in His presence. It will be hard not to see her pop her head out her window to greet family and friends or grace us with her witty comments. May she rest in peace, knowing she will be missed tremendously and will always be loved.
