Rose M. Basciano

Rose M. Basciano of Mt. Vernon passed away on January 6, 2020. She was born in White Plains, NY on May 29, 1927 to Luigi and Lucy Viscusi. Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband Marconi in 1978. Loving mother of Mark Basciano and Donna (Robert) Carminucci; cherished grandmother of Mark Basciano and great grandmother of Sarafina and Amelia. Rose was an over 35 year employee working for the Mt. Vernon School System. She loved to cook for her family. To Rose, her family was always #1, her top priority. The family would like to thank with profound gratitude the nurses and aides on 2 south at the Westchester Center for Rehab and Nursing in Mt Vernon. Family will honor Rose’s life on Thursday January 9, 2020 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home, 584 Gramatan Ave, Mt Vernon, NY 10552. Funeral Mass on Friday January 10, 2020 at 10:00 am at Sts. Peter & Paul ~ St. Ursula’s Church, Mt Vernon. Burial at Beechwoods Cemetery, New Rochelle.
