Robert Fong

Robert Fong a longtime resident of Baldwin, NY passed away on November 9, 2018. He was born in Bronx, NY on December 28, 1926 to Loy and Rosa Fong. Loving brother of Warren Fong, Edgar Fong, Richard Fong, and Betty Fong Zuzolo; dear uncle of 10 nephews and nieces and 13 grand nephews and grand nieces. Robert graduated from Baldwin High School and SUNY Farmingdale. He proudly served our country in the US Navy during World War II; member of the Seabee’s associated with the 1st Marine Division for the Battle of Okinawa. Robert was employed by Mueser, Rutledge Consulting Engineering Firm as a Soils Engineer. After retirement Robert moved to enjoy his upstate farms. He spent the last 3 years at St. Joseph’s Senior Care Home in Sloatsburg, NY. Family will honor Robert’s life on Saturday November 17, 2018 from 10 am – 12 noon with a funeral service at 12 noon at Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home, 584 Gramatan Ave, Mt Vernon, NY 10552.
