Richard Cardillo

Richard Cardillo of Mt Vernon passed away on September 5, 2019. He was born September 23, 1934 in Mt Vernon to Alfred and Ann Cardillo. On October 25, 1959 Richard married his loving wife Carolyn at Our Lady of Victory Church in Mt. Vernon. Richard served our country in the United States Air Force and worked as a correction officer at the Westchester Department of Corrections in Valhalla until his retirement. Richard is survived by his daughters Roseann Cardillo (Mary McGinnis), Gina Cardillo- Horgan (Philip), brother Bruce “Br. Gilbert” Cardillo, sisters in law Dolores Satterelle (Richard), Donna Fulco (John), Niece Joy Sattarelle and step nieces Maria and Carla Fulco. Richard is predeceased by his wife Carolyn. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church at 10:30am.
