Michael A. Ciferri

Michael A. Ciferri of Pelham passed away on June 9, 2018. He was born in the Bronx on April 13, 1945 to Anthony and Josephine Ciferri. Beloved husband of Maria Ciferri for 50 years; loving father of Kimberlie Weisse, Christene (Scott) Johnson and Michael S. (Christine) Ciferri; cherished grandfather of Raymond Weisse, Christian Johnson, Alicia Johnson and Victoria Johnson; dear brother of Rita (Robert) Hammer. Michael was a very proud member of the FDNY for 30 years and also worked at Sound Shore Medical Center for over 15 years. He was very involved with the Pelham Civics, Pelham Boosters Club, and ARRL (national association for amateur radio) volunteer administer. Michael enjoyed many hobbies which included, HAM Radio Operator (W2MAC), Control Op of a local VHF Amateur Radio repeater, self taught Computer. IT specialist and muscle car enthusiast. Family will honor Michael on Wednesday June 13, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home, 584 Gramatan Ave, Mt. Vernon, NY 10552.  Funeral Mass 10:00 am Thursday June 14, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Pelham, NY
