Maria Fiorentino

Mary A. Fiorentino (Maria Amalfitano) was born and raised on Witherspoon Street in Princeton, NJ.  Beloved daughter of Benedetto and Nicoletta Amalfitano, and younger sister of Tony Amalfitano.  On her graduation day from Princeton High School, she met her future husband, Vincent J. Fiorentino, Sr. (deceased, December, 1991).  They married in Princeton in 1947, and subsequently moved to Mt. Vernon, NY, where they raised four children: Anthony (Tony, Key Biscayne, FL), Benedict (Bengie, Mt. Vernon, NY), Marie (Ridgefield, CT), and Vincent (Greenwich, CT).  In addition to her children, Mary also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren, Allyson and Emily.
She worked as a secretary at Own Instrument in Mt. Vernon and, with her husband, was a life-long parishioner at Mt. Carmel Church in Mt. Vernon.  Mary enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles, and watching the New York Yankees and the Miami Heat.  She volunteered for various organizations and lived in Bedford Hills, NY, before moving to Key Biscayne, FL, in 2016.
