Maria Piscopo

Maria C. Piscopo of Mt Vernon and Brewster passed away tragically on July 21, 2108. She was born on March 4, 1949 in Italy to Americo and Clementina Colabella. Maria married Joseph Piscopo on May 9, 1970 at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph in 2016.  Loving mother of Joseph, Ricky, Concetta and Tina (Michael); cherished grandmother of Brianna Marie, Joey, Christian and Ava Marie. Also survived by two sisters and many nieces, nephews and friends. Maria and her husband Joseph were the proud owners of the very famous Johnny’s Pizzeria in Mt. Vernon.  Family will honor Maria’s life on Thursday July 26^th and Friday July 27^th from 4 – 8 pm at Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 10:15 am Saturday at Sts. Peter & Paul ~ St Ursula’s Church, Mt Vernon. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memory of Maria Piscopo
