Josephine (Patulo) DeLuccia passed away on June 2, 2018, at the age of 97. Born and raised in Mt. Vernon, where she also lovingly raised her three children, Josephine graduated from A.B. Davis High School in 1938, met the love of her life, Mark, at a church dance, and they were married on March 27, 1942. Warm, spunky, and delightfully eccentric, Josephine loved listening to all kinds of music, loved all things glittery and gold (and purple!), loved writing, loved shopping, and most of all, loved her family with all her heart and soul. She is survived by her devoted sister, Eleanor (Orlando) Cappello, three children, Mark (Susan) DeLuccia, Suzanne (Richard) Carpiniello, and Philip (Evelyn) DeLuccia, seven grandchildren (Michael, Jeffrey, Steven, Michelle, Amy, Philip, and Amanda), nine great-grandchildren (Luke, Jesse, Alexandra, Anna, Joshua, Ryan, Matthew, Emily, and Ella), and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great, great-nieces and -nephews. She was pre-deceased by her adoring husband, Mark, her brother, Dominic Patulo, and her sister, Susan Landy.
