Anna Catano

Anna Catano of Mt. Vernon passed away on October 1, 2019. She was born in Italy on July 11, 1930 to Antonio and Elisabetta D’Amendola. Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Alippio in 2009. Loving mother of Rita Catano and Lisa Luglio (Ray); cherished grandmother of Michael, Jackie and Sabrina. Anna loved to cook; especially her Sunday Sauce for her family and spending time with her grandchildren was her ultimate joy. She also adored all animals and tending to her massive garden. Family will honor Anna’s life from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday October 3, 2019 at Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 10:30 am Friday October 4, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe, NY. Entombment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
