Angelina Valvano

Angelina Valvano a long time resident of Mt Vernon passed away on November 28, 2018. She was born in Guardia dei Lombardi, Italy on November 5, 1924 to Serafino and Michelina Castellano. Angelina was predeceased by her beloved husband Feliciano Valvano in 1997. Loving mother of Michelina Valvano, Rocco (Roseanne) Valvano and Carmine Valvano; cherished grandmother of Christina, Stephanie and Phillip. She was predeceased by her sisters Carmella Scavone and Josephine Gonnella and a brother Vito Castellano. Angelina loved her home where she enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family and friends. She loved making and jarring her delicious homemade tomato sauce. Family will honor Angelina’s life on Friday November 29, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Saturday December 1, 2018 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Mt Vernon. Entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association
