Agnese Tedeschi

Agnese (Carmela) Tedeschi passed away peacefully on September 22, 2018. She was born on October 26, 1933 to Antonio and Francesca Barone in Troani, Italy. In 1961, she married Alberto Tedeschi and in 1963 they came to the United States with their children Genoveffa & Salvatore to settle in Mt. Vernon, NY. She worked many years as a seamstress before retiring to take care of her grandchildren. Her passion was getting together and cooking for family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Genoveffa DeFeo (Silvano), her son Salvatore (Donna) and six grandchildren, Roberto, Lorenzo, Sabrina, Carmella, Alberto and Adrianna. She is predeceased by her husband Alberto. Family will honor Agnese’s life at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church at 10:45am.
